SUPPORT St. George's Hall
Help keep this vital community space thriving for future generations.
Why Your Financial Support Is Important
A Community Space That Matters
Every year St. George’s Hall has around 80,000 visits with people walking through our doors to find a warm welcome, community connection, and a place to meet.
Nearly 50,000 of those visits are to our Community Café, which provides a safe, warm and accessible environment where people can meet, connect, and take part in community life.
St. George’s Hall is home to a wide range of community activities, events, music performances, meetings, and our popular weekly community cinema programme.
Owned and operated by a charity and powered by community support, the Hall receives no regular guaranteed external funding and relies on local people to help maintain and improve this important space.
Maintaining a historic building brings ongoing challenges. Unexpected repairs and essential improvements can arise at any time and often come at significant cost.
A Practical Solution
The Resilience Fund has been created to help protect St. George’s Hall for the future.
It enables us to respond quickly to urgent repairs, carry out essential improvements, and plan ahead with greater confidence—helping to ensure the Hall remains welcoming, accessible and sustainable for generations to come.
The Fund also helps us keep hire charges affordable, enabling local groups and charities to continue using the Hall to deliver their own activities, events, and fundraising initiatives.
