How It Works from ceremony to celebration

  • 1. Craft Your Legal Ceremony

You can have a marriage ceremony inside the stunning, light-filled Georgian Guildhall, or if you prefer an outdoor, romantic setting, exchange vows surrounded by blossoms in the Green Theatre located in the Jubilee Gardens. Your guests can mingle with drinks while you complete paperwork, after which you can have photos among the museum’s historic craft shops of The Shambles, or alternatively in the Jubilee gardens.

  • 2. Stroll to Your Grand Reception

Skip the cost of wedding cars and coaches. Your wedding party will take a gentle stroll past the historic Georgian houses of Load Street to St George’s Hall, opposite the museum.

  • 3. Design Your Dream Evening

St George’s Hall gives you total creative control. Bring in your own preferred style of catering; set up a formal wedding breakfast, a buffet, or even set up pop-up street-food stations. Accompany your celebrations with a live band on our professional stage, with full sound system. We are fully accessible, with a lift to all floors, air conditioning, a fully licensed bar, and our dedicated events team will ensure that your celebration runs flawlessly.
